We gathered at Canis Beach in the Dog Park (while Lil was napping) to draw the winnards for the VKC “Guess the next breed competition”. Rosanna had a magic hat that drew names out of the competition datasbase. There was a lot of cheering and even more drum rolling.
I can remember that the new breed is the Yorkshire Terrier, but I had a few beers afterwards and I can’t remember any of the winners.

I think Rosanna has been moonlighting as a poster girl on her afternoon off.
I am FIVE! And to celebrate I took Logan and Blu and Hosanna to the Giant Cake Shop*.
Logan and I were VERY excited to see all the giant cakes.

I asked Logan to wipe her feet before we went in, but as usual, she ignored me.
Sadly all good things come to an end. Logan got stuck in a silly, arthritic looking pose and we had to leave before anyone we knew saw us

It was a strange sort of celebration.
No one bought her any presents or anything.
Ebi stood on her head to hold her down and everyone else gave her a good slapping.
