While many people seem to regard a party as somewhere to let their hair down, have a few beers and indulge in a little bawdy behaviour, I always find them educational and they enable me to understand a little bit more about humans every time. I learned some interesting things at Richd Tomsen’s birthday party.

First of all, RichD is mates with Mr Spock. This is the birthday card that he sent.

We’d been there quite a while and I had been watching RichD dancing with a purple alien woman and wondering where Eve was, when finally I realised that Eve is the purple alien woman. Am I the only one that didn’t realise and thought she was a human? She carries it off well.

This is RichD’s firework cake. Evie lit the blue touchpaper and we all retired to a safe distance. If you click on the photo, you can open a bigger version and if you zoom in, you can see that there was a girl in the cake!

I also discovered that RichD is also mates with the inter-galactically famous UtahCowboy Kayor who was singing and playing at the party.

But the best thing of all was the food!
