CoCo is Roe’s Dog. It was her birthday so we all went over to see her and have a little party and eat cup cakes.
(You may have heard about the fun fair next door. At face value it sounded like a wonderful idea. But when the fun fair people made a ball pool with some 500 physical balls in it and everyone could hardly move, it was no fun and not fair. DUH!)
Just in case you’ve been living under a rock this is the teaser that Blu and Logan published for the new Virtual Kennel Club Jack Russell Terrier.
I’ve been digging in Logan’s external hard drive and I found some old, old photos from when Turing Isle and the VKC were very much younger.
As far as I know, this is the first ever Virtual Kennel Club Training Class. 12 January 2007.
Back in the day, they were hosted by Enrico Genosse himself and you had to pay L$300 to attend.

Logan and I got to do a little photoshoot with the Car for Hosanna who was taking photos of the all dogs for the Virtual Kennel Club web site. We had to take the car to the Hewes park and drive it up and down so that Hosanna could take photos.
What this really means is that Hosanna and I spent a lot of time sitting around while Logan did some swearing and bad driving and generally failed to get the car parked in the right place because it’s really hard to get a photo of that car when it’s going full tilt. It’s also really hard to get that car to keep still (-;
Anyway, eventually we got it parked for long enough to get some photos.
This one is of course an out take because of the boobs and bottoms shop in the background.
This one is a bit better.

I went rifling through Logan’s drawers archives and found this.
It’s very special.
We all know the story of the VKC Chow Chow (and if you don’t you can read it on the Chow Chow page of the Virtual Kennel Club web site). This photo was taken on 28 April 2007 when Turing Isle was very young and I wasn’t even a twinkle in Dad’s eye and Dad was just a n00b. The photo was taken by Blu and shows Amber, Rico, Mitch Merricks and Blu on Amber’s first day in Second Life.
