Have a look at this.  You might not recognise the person in the photo, that’s Jane. No wait that’s wrong. It’s Chic Aeon. She’s a blogger. But look at the barrow and the little fence and the pile of hay. Recognise those?

Chic got some of Logan’s stuff at the Home and Garden Expo 2012 and she really liked it. So much so that she wrote a blog post about it on her own site and what’s more, she made this rockin’ video.  (-:

Right click on the logs and choose “Chop”. You loosen up your limbs and ease the crick in your neck, you step forward and take the axe from the stump. A moment or two as you gauge the weight of the axe and you take your first swing. There is a satisfying sound as the axe bites into the stump. You lift the axe and swing again. This time the sound is louder, the axe bites deeper into the log, but you have to put all your weight into to it pull it back out. You swing a third time and this time your efforts are rewarded with a very satisfying crunch and a flurry or wood chips as the log splits and falls away. You step over to the log pile and lift another…

Dog Bath Video

Some months ago Blu and Logan and Dad got together to make the LogSpark Dog Bath for VKC(TM) Dogs. Solcar did the animations, Blu designed the baths and created the themes and Logan and I wrote the scripts.

The bath comes in Small, Medium and Large to suit the sizes of the different Virtual Kennel Club dog breeds and features two and a half minutes of looped animation for each breed. There are nine themes that can be selected from the touch control menu and there are also controls that will allow you to fine tune your avatar’s position at the bath to get the most realistic look.

If you’d like one of these, you can get them from the LogSpark Dog Bath Store at the VKC Dog Park at Turing Isle. If you need two or more baths (so that you have the right size baths for your VKC Dog breeds) you can get a discount by buying the Twin Pack or the Fat Pack which contains all three.

Johny Restless

Johny Restless is a dog avatar that comes and plays with us at Turing Isle in Second Life. This is a little clip inspired by some of Blu’s Autumn decorations and a very silly gesture/tune that Diddi, Karys and Paula insist on playing all the time.

Thanks to everyone for their patience and especially to Rosanna and Blu for helping to keep the very restless Johny still whilst I was trying to explain what I wanted him to try to do :c)

The title* is of course a big exaggeration, it’s actually the name of a song by Royal Crown Revue, and this sight is really not that unusual, they do this stuff quite a lot.

Turing Isle St. Patricks Day Party 2009 Machinima

This year was the third Annual St. Patricks Day Party at Turing Isle. (I’ve been the official machinimatographer at two of them.) We invited all out friends to come and dance and drink and party and bring their dogs and generally have a good time.

There were decorations and catering by Blu Heron (can we please have a few more roadkill grills next year Blu?) and green beer and a Coin Hunt organised by Blu and Blu and dancing and dogs and drinking and a raffle ball (some people won a dog!) and Cephus won a dress and did I say dancing and beer?

Asploded

We first met this guy in a store call Pixel Creations, at a shopping mall on a sim called Journey.

He looks really cute, right?

Right. Well, he has a bit of a tendency to touch himself…

and when he does… he asplodes.

And when we first met him, he asploded Ebi right out of his shop.

Because someone will get you. Rosanna left hers and Logan and Cazaluf started slapping her around.

Of course this was quite a mild one, you should have seen what happened to Ebi Ebi back in the winter before I was born. Blu, Cazaluff AND the dogs got him, whilst Logan held the camera.
