Riding in Blu’s Car

I went for a ride with Blu today in her car. Isn’t this the coolest thing? It’s powered by steam! We were waiting to have a meeting with Rico on the Isle of Dogs and we got bored waiting. So Blu got the Tea Kettle car out and we went for a ride around the island.

But don’t be fooled now. Don’t be thinking that this is an old museum piece just for pottering around on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Look what happened when Blu revved it up and dropped the clutch!

Blogates Blows Goats

I am sure you will remember with much mirth, my recent story of my attempt to get a new blog for Logan at the place where it turned out that they were only open on Sundays

“We are open for Sunday only, blog registration only accept signup on Sunday.
Currently we are only accept user for signup.

Well, I waited until Sunday and went back again. Dutifully I filled in the form once more and waited for the confirmation email. When it arrived, I clicked on the link to confirm my account.

“Sorry, you are not allowed to signup.”

So it’s official. Blogates blows goats.
Whatever that means.

Kim Seifert at Turing

We also had the fabulous Kim Seifert come and play on day two.  Here she is in front of Rico’s big book.

and here is the long view from where me and Logan were standing in the audience.

Here’s Storm Carey having a wonderful time (and keeping a careful distance from Alex’s feet)

and this is the Niju view.

Tone Plays Again

Day two of the Virtual Kennel Club Anniversary Celebrations and Tone Uriza was back for another gig.

A Tone’s-eye view of the dancers and audience.

Dad dancing with Blu.

Logan dancing with Rico – you know, it’s pretty hard to make her do all that fancy footwork… and not knock anyone else over.

Punky Solo, strutting her stuff.

Eve Compton, groovin’

Change Partners …Logan dances with Dad

… Blu dances with Rico.

…and Niju Zarco continues to shake his thang.

Pepper adores Tone.

The Tonettes came armed with rulers and left Tone all a quiver.
