Thanksgiving Party

The VKC Thanksgiving Party was at Canis Beach this year. People, dogs, penguins and bears gathered to dance in the agility area and stuff themselves full of turkey.

Cats can come too.

At the end of the party LilWitch lifts Erie onto the table to draw the prize winner from the hat, but he’s distracted by his chance to get the Turkey. The prize winners can wait!

Cousin Jana

This is Jana Crispien, she came to visit the dogs in the park.
I don’t actually know that she’s my cousin, it’s not always easy to keep track of the family when you’re a dragon. She’s got the claws and the hat, which makes me think she might be a relative. But she walks around on the ground so she might be one of the poorer relatives.

All the old families have one…

…a mad woman in the attic that is.

Rosanna found Laney555 standing alone in the attic in the big house on Turing Isle II. She says:

“And this one is of a visitor at the abandoned house next door to me. Poor girl. Somebody must’ve misdirected her to the bus stop. It’s not a particularly good place to wait for the bus. Ennui, apparently taking its toll, had forced her into a catatonic state. She was totally unresponsive when I talked to her. I’ll bet she was late for work.”

I suspect it was Keiichi’s fault.

Fashion Show

I recently found these photos in the Miller Archive, they were taken back in June at the Miss Essence of Ebony Pageant. They show some of the things you don’t notice when you’re just in the audience gaping at the models.

 

“Can all y’all at the back please sit down and shut up so we can get started?”
If you’re the boss of all the models, you need to be able to shout.

“Blimey! I’m stuck in a cake!”
Being a true professional, she just strikes a pose as the cameras whirl and people applaud.

Meanwhile, down in the audience….

“Ooooooooh, I wanna scratch her eyes out!”

“OMG! That girl just leapt onto the stage and tried to scratch the model’s eyes out!”

Octopus Attack!

This is Maris Button who we spotted at Fri.Day where she was being attacked by an octopus! Logan was rummaging in her Inventory for a gun or something so that she could help poor Maris until I pointed out that:

  1. She’s no William Tell when it comes to shooting and this could be bad for Maris
  2. Even if she were a good shot, shooting a gun in Fri.Day would probably get us banned.
  3. Maris was holding her Magic Octopus Zapper Orb and she appeared to have everything under control.
